Thanakorn Palachai has infused the traditional science show with unique cross-cultural presentations, inspiring others to make science truly relevant and inspirational.

Thanakorn is the Vice President of the National Science Museum (NSM) of Thailand. He is a keen jogger and dedicated gardener.

Thanakorn is a physicist (Chaing Mai University) with an MBA from the National Institute of Development Administration. He has studied management and technology in the USA, in Sri Lanka and in Korea. He has also completed studies in museum management and interactive learning at the Deutches Museum and Techniquest, Wales. Thanakorn is the founder of NSM’s Centre for Public Awareness of Science and is responsible for International Relations. He has developed and conducts training programs for teachers and outreach projects in interactive science communication. He has received the Royal Award for Lifelong Commitment to Excellence in the Communication of Science.

Thanakorn brings a unique multicultural perspective to his science presentations and delights in using cultural objects such as toys to communicate science.
